This British Science Week, join the Museum of London and Imperial College London for free hands-on activities and experiments at our archaeological archive.

Explore why scientists and archaeologists continue to be fascinated by water as you take part in a range of short interactive activities and embark on a behind-the-scenes tour of the world’s largest archaeological archive.

Find out how medieval Londoners coped when the river Thames froze over, explore why water is a conservation superhero and take a watery ride through London’s sewer system.

Discover our amazing range of artefacts that have been discovered in London’s rivers and wells which have survived through the centuries.

This event is free but ticketed. Some tickets will be available on the day or you can book in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets will be released in the week before the event. Sign up to register your interest and be the first to reserve free tickets.
